BYD has officially announced an agreement to acquire the business operations of Hedin Mobility Group in Germany and Sweden. Following the completion of this acquisition, BYD will directly collaborate with local dealers, eliminating the need for importers. This transaction is still subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2024. The acquisition aims to expand BYD’s market share in Germany while continuing its partnership with Hedin Mobility Group in Sweden. Additionally, BYD’s European management has undergone restructuring, appointing Stella Li as the head of European operations.
